The Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) is indirectly supervised by the Department Manager andprovides care to consumers utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care. The RSS serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides recovery oriented in-home and community based services for adults with severe mental illnesses. The RSS provides comprehensive case management and psychosocial rehabilitation through an outreach-oriented set of service activities. The RSS provides crisis intervention, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and demonstrate Trinity’s principles and values when interacting with clients, families, visitors, physicians and coworkers.
Description of Position:
