Under the supervision of the PACE Transportation/Facility Manager, a Driver is responsible for providing transportation services utilizing an agency vehicle to transport Siouxland PACE participants according to assigned routes/appointment schedules. Provides all delivery services as needed. Also, maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Compliance Accountability Program, Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement and Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures, in order to assure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

Education:
| · High School Graduate or GED required. |

Experience:
| · One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required. | · Six months experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs strongly preferred. |
License(s)/Certification(s):
| · Maintains current CPR status or acquire within 30 days of hire. · Maintains current Mandatory Adult or acquire within 30 days of hire Abuse Reporter status · Valid Driver’s License (Chauffer's endorsement for IA licenses), and good driving record required. · Proof of Auto Insurance

Other:
| · Driver will be required to operate manual vehicle ramp and hydraulic lifts to load/unload wheel chairs. · Driver will be required to utilize Q-straint tie downs to secure wheel chairs on vehicles.
