Under general supervision performs professional duties in the application of Ultrasonography services.  Demonstrates proficiency in performing all Ultrasound related exams and other related patient care services.

Patient Care

Minimum Requirements


Preferred or Specialized






Graduate of JRCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology with extensive training and experience in Ultrasound to prove competent or a graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography. 







1-2 years preferred minimum







RDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or registry eligible

If registry eligible, must sit for RDMS within 24 months of successfully passing Physics, Abdomen and OB/GYN
