Clinician Recovery Specialist - Hamilton Substance Abuse 

Human Service Center

1st Shift - 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Position provides clinincal care to customers in an outpatient substance abuse treatment setting.

Responsibilities

  1. Provides clinical services as prescribed by the program or situational requirements. Basic clinical services are counseling to the individual, group, and case management.  In addition, couple or family work may be provided.  As a part of the treatment process, assessment and re-assessment are consumer-centered and ongoing.
  2. Provides clinical documentation, which reflects the customer's story, efforst, and progress made. Information is gathered throughout the intake and treatment process and integrated into a coherent and dynamic understanding of the consumer.
  3. Provides honest, open, and respectful communication to all members of the agency and the people we serve.
  4. Provides supervision of clinical work to improve clinical care.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in behavioral health care or allied fields preferred. Will accept five years' experience in behavioral healthcare in lieu of degree.
