Recovery Specialist/Case Manager - Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

Human Service Center - UnityPlace 

Full-Time, Benefitted

1st Shift - 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., No weekends or call

 

Position provides case management to consumers within the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and works as a vocational specialist to assist consumers in finding jobs within the community.

Responsibilities

  1. Provides case management, skills training, recovery and/or clinical services. Assists consumers to obtain employment, food, clothing, safe housing, disability benefits, medical care, and/or skilled clinical services. Aids consumer in learning the skills to take care of their basic needs as part of the treatment process to obtain recovery.
  2. Provides clinical documentation. Completes assessment and treatment planning that are consumer-centered and ongoing. Information is gathere through the intake and treatment process and integrated to create a coherent and dynamic understanding of the consumer.
  3. Provides honest and open communication with members of the agency and the people we serve. 
  4. Reviews clinical work to improve skills. 

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in human services field or related field with a minimum of two years’ behavioral health experience.

Five years’ experience in behavioral health in lieu of degree required.

 

License/Certification:

Valid Driver's License with good driving record
