Food Service Aides (Dishwashers): Assists in the preparation and distribution of food service to patients, employees and visitors. This position floats to other areas as needed and is a great introduction to the world of food service!
Dining Hosts: Assists patients with their selection of food items from a daily menu and alternate menu that fits the patient's diet order and preference. Collects and reviews patient menus for accuracy. Delivers food trays and snacks and picks up trays, records fluid intake and % eaten after meals. Passes snacks and provides floor stock to unit pantries. This position is one on one with our patients and their loved ones. A great position for anyone that may be pursuing a career in healthcare in food service or in direct patient care!

High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years of experience in/with food service
o Basic reading skills
o Basic writing skills
o Basic oral skills
o Ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker
o Interaction with a wide variety of people
o Maintain confidential information
o Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information
o Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor
o Basic computer knowledge: Uses word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail application, and web browser. Comfortable within a Windows OS and learning new applications.
o Experience with a computer program/software for food service
o E-mail client
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
