UnityPlace was formed by the joining of UnityPoint Health®, Human Service Center and Tazwood Center for Wellness in April of 2019. UnityPlace is a new non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the growing behavioral health care needs of the community. Our compassionate and committed treatment team is comprised of many experts from psychiatry and addiction medicine.

Recovery Support Technician

New Leaf (Female Residential) - UnityPlace

2nd or 3rd Shift

Full-Time, or PRN schedules available 

 

Position exists to provide clinical support to team and external/internal customers and to help ensure the security of consumers and physical plant.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Maintains a safe living environment for consumers.

Values/Attitudes: A secure and supportive living arrangement is crucial to the treatment process.

  1. Provides clinically supportive services as required by program, or situation.

Values/Attitudes:  Skilled supportive services promote recovery.

  1. Communication

Values/Attitudes:  Honest and open and respectful communication is necessary among all members of the agency and with the people we serve.  We demonstrate interest in the viewpoint of others and pay close attention to information provided.

  1. Supervision

Values/Attitudes:  Consumers are best served in a setting where staff have ongoing opportunities to review clinical work and improve skills.  Supervision is a critical component of providing good clinical care.

Qualifications

Required:

HS/GED. 

A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required (first and second shift only). 

Requires basic computer skills and familiarity with a Windows environment.

 

Preferred:

1 -2 years related experience as CNA, Psychiatric Aide or other behavioral health fields.
