UnityPoint Health- Trinity is accepting applications for the Crisis Stabilization Unit for the Robert Young Center in Rock Island, IL. The recent advances in behavioral health have given way to richer, deeper, treatment programs that put the patient at the center of each care plan. Since our founding, the Robert Young Center has championed mental health care advocacy, offering services under UnityPoint Health - Trinity.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager for Robert Young Center’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and in collaboration with the Director of Emergency Services the QMHP will;
Completes mental health and substance abuse assessments to individuals in need of behavioral health services.
Contributes toward accomplishment of patient’s Plan of Care goals by providing care activities as assigned by the nurse.
Promotes monitors and maintains a safe clean environment.
Contributes effectively to the communication needs of the unit/department.
Provides for efficient operation of unit/department by taking initiative and assuming other responsibilities as needed, i.e. obtaining equipment, restocking supplies, running errands, etc.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
A licensed social worker (LSW) possessing at least a master's degree in social work and licensed under the Clinical Social Work and Social Work Practice Act [225 ILCS 20] with specialized training in mental health services or with at least 2 years experience in mental health services
A licensed professional counsel (LPC) or possessing at least a master's degree and licensed under the Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing Act [225 ILCS 107] with specialized training in mental health services or with at least two years experience in mental health services
