Surgical Services RNs are needed to work at one of the nation's most integrated health systems.
UnityPoint Health - Trinity operates four full-service hospitals in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois, and Bettendorf and Muscatine, Iowa, with a total of 584 licensed inpatient beds. The Surgical Services provides that latest technology for orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and microsurgery, including the Da Vinici Robotic Surgical System.

Demonstrates competence in the skills, (processes, procedures, and equipment) necessary to carry out assigned duties as identified below. Demonstrated competence in recognizing and responding to patients
physical, mental, emotional and developmental needs should be evaluated in relation to the patient populations served as appropriate for each responsibility.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Must be a graduate of accredited school of nursing. Previous acute care experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS: The Registered Nurse must have expertise in the nursing process. Must have education, experience, and current competency in providing nursing care to the pediatric,
adolescent, adult and geriatric patient from admission until discharge. Ability to problem solve; to plan, organize, and direct nursing activities. Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of laser safety.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure in the State of Illinois. Must be CPR certified. ACLS encouraged.
