As a member of the Imaging Department management team, this role is responsible to the Imaging Director for the day to day operations within the Imaging department: staffing, patient complaints, protocols, regulations, and equipment . Assists in strategic planning and budgeting for the Imaging Department. Ensures comprehensive understanding, adherence to and compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, national and local standards of care and established imaging practices and policies.
**Main office is at Muscatine but does rotate through the 3 QC campus locations as well for the ancillary staff. **

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Graduate of a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology. Prefers Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Health Care Administration or minimum of five years’ experience with intrinsic knowledge of radiology services in a hospital setting. Prior employee leadership preferred
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS: Broad experience and varied technical expertise, initiative, independent judgment, interacts well with people, possesses ability to supervise, is responsible and has knowledge of and abides by rules of regulatory agencies. A strong clerical and computer knowledge is required.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Holds a current license with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and/or the Iowa Department of Public Health (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
