To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care at Registered Nurse skill level, in collaboration with the Medical Plan of Care, with a minimum of assistance. To function as primary care leader, associate, or charge nurse so that optimum quality of patient care is maintained according to the philosophy and objectives of Allen Hospital. To exercise accountability responsibility, authority, autonomy, and act as a role model and resource person with expanded theory and expertise.
Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing required or comparable experience. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Ability to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the nursing care delivered to a group of patients. Ability to assume responsibility for personal and professional growth. Able to meet the physical demands on file in the Human Resources Department.
