Shift: Full-time/Part-time/PRN shifts available
Unitypoint Health will be conducting open interviews for this position on 11/30 from 8am.-noon and 4p.m-8p.m at Pekin Hospital located at 600 S. 13th Street Pekin, IL 61554 on Unit 5 North. Please bring your resume and be prepared to interview with our nurse managers. On the spot offers will be made.
UnityPoint will have a 2nd interview day for this position as well on 12/5 at Methodist College located at 7600 N. Academia Drive, Peoria, IL 61615 in the Parliment Room from 4p.m-8p.m. We will also interview on 12/6 at Methodist College from 8a.m.-noon.
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
CLINICAL EXCELLENCE FOCUS: Promotes the use of evidence based practice through the nursing process, protocols and procedures while under the supervision of an RN, assesses patient's status through interview, observation and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes
WORK ENVIRONMENT & CULTURE FOCUS: Participates in interdisciplinary care of the patient through collaboration with team members and utilizes additional resources when necessary
PATIENT EDUCATION FOCUS: Adapts teaching strategies appropriately to meet the patient's/family's age specific needs.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT FOCUS: Actively participates in data collection, analysis, problem solving and gives input on process improvements and patient satisfaction.
Implements changes in own clinical practice based on literature and unit process improvement outcomes
