Maintains hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work.
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors; gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture; and performing similar tasks.
Ability to read/write/understand oral and written communication in English is required.
Knowledge in the area of common household cleaning devices and solutions is preferred.
Previous cleaning experience to include operating housekeeping equipment is preferred.
