The Technical Coordinator is responsible for the designated laboratory function. The Technical Coordinator promotes the philosophy and the objectives established by the Hospital Board of Directors and the Management Team. Foremost among these responsibilities is solving practical and strategic problems, resolving conflict and constructively leading change.
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for providing timely and effective services to all customers of the Laboratory, assuring that the professional and technical process is carried out. The Technical Coordinator supports the direction and achievement of the hospital's short and long range goals.
Education: Must be MT or MLS (ASCP) certified and have a minimum of three to five years of clinical laboratory experience. Bachelor’s degree required.
Qualifications/Experience: Strong technical/specialty knowledge is desirable. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
Special Skills/Knowledge: Strong technical/specialty knowledge is desirable.
