The Massage Therapist – Home Health provides compassionate, individualized therapeutic massage to support comfort, relaxation, and quality of life for patients receiving hospice care. Services are tailored to each patient’s unique needs and delivered in the patient’s place of residence or within the Inpatient Hospice Unit. Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team, the Massage Therapist helps address patients’ physical and emotional needs while supporting their overall well-being and providing comfort and meaningful connection for patients and their families.

• Consistently utilizes a patient-centered approach considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned service area.
• Provides therapeutic massage in accordance with written physician order and patient evaluation plan of care.
• Delivers quality care consistent with Hospice Conditions of Participation, qualifying hospice criteria, payer coverage criteria, and providing visits/treatments consistent with the plan of care.
• Develops and administers plan of treatment in collaboration with the hospice IDT.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of clinical records and time/travel entries.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Massage Therapy 

Licensure/Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Licensed Massage Therapist in state(s) of practice
