Join our team at the Robert Young Center as the Manager of Crisis Services! In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of RYC Crisis Services, including the Mobile Crisis Response Team, Rock Island County Law Enforcement Co-Responder Model, Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), and crisis telehealth assessment clinicians.
This position provides clinical supervision and leadership across crisis departments while ensuring compliance with the State of Illinois 590 contract, Rock Island County 708 Board grant requirements, applicable state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. The Manager is also responsible for staff development and the planning, organization, and execution of crisis programs.

Manages, supervises, and coordinates RYC Crisis Services throughout Rock Island County, including the Mobile Crisis Response Team, Co-Responder Team, Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), and crisis telehealth services.
Ensures quality patient care and appropriate staffing levels to support 24/7/365 crisis services.
Provides leadership, coaching, and clinical supervision to crisis staff while supporting staff development and performance.
Monitors quality indicators and evaluates patient care through quality improvement initiatives, patient feedback, direct observation, complaints, and other performance measures.
Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal teams, law enforcement, community partners, psychiatrists, and other key stakeholders.
Ensures compliance with staff licensure requirements, HIPAA, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, grants, contracts, and quality reporting requirements.
Oversees risk management, audits, complaints, investigations, and performance improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and mitigate risk.
Manages operational and financial performance, including budgets, cost-reduction opportunities, revenue enhancement, grant funding, quality metrics, and departmental goals.
Education:
License(s)/Certification(s):
Licensed Therapist, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience:
Two years of management experience and clinical knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders required.
Behavioral health and quality management experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of quality improvement, metrics, budgeting, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and staff supervision skills.
Knowledge of behavioral health standards, including DSM, ASAM, and applicable state and federal regulations.
