As an Office Assistant for Aging Services, you’ll be the welcoming, organized face for clients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will answer inquires and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
You’ll help create a positive experience for every client by answering and triaging phone calls and maintaining accurate records. The Office Assistant is responsible for coordinating the Aging Services Transportation Program and supporting other programs and initiatives throughout the department. Responsibilities include processing applications, documenting client requests, coordinating volunteer and staff schedules, facilitating communication between volunteers and clients, and orienting and training volunteers. Additional tasks such as ordering for multiple departments and assisting with billing will be assigned as needed.
