Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across assigned units
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care
  • Provide education based on each patient’s needs and readiness to learn
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete patient documentation
  • Delegate care appropriately and guide other healthcare team members
  • Connect patients and families with resources that support continued care
  • Promote patient and workplace safety through infection prevention and proactive reporting
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing

 

License(s)/Credential(s):

  • Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
