The Parking/Valet Senior Attendant NE oversees day-to-day parking and valet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. In addition to performing valet and operational duties, this role provides on-site supervision, supports training of new staff, manages escalated situations, and ensures compliance with service standards, safety regulations, and financial procedures. The senior attendant acts as a key liaison between frontline staff, security, and facility operations to enhance patient and visitor experience.

• Supervise valet and transport activities, ensuring smooth handoffs,
  prompt service, and courteous interaction with patients and visitors
• Train and mentor new or junior parking/valet attendants, modeling
  customer service excellence and safe vehicle handling
• Oversee vehicle inspection and documentation process to ensure
  accuracy and reduce liability
• Coordinate transport support for patients and visitors requiring
  mobility assistance or wheelchair service
• Respond to escalated issues and urgent situations (e.g., Code Blue,
  falls) with professionalism and urgency
  Monitor staffing at valet stations and entrances; reassign team
  members as needed based on flow and volume
• Serve as primary point of contact for guest service concerns related to
  valet operations
• Maintain a consistent, positive presence to reinforce service standards
  and departmental expectations
• Monitor daily parking operations, ensuring proper fee collection, ticket
  validation, and departmental charge accuracy
• Maintain oversight of cash handling, ensuring compliance with financial
  protocols and reconciliation procedures
• Conduct routine checks on all parking equipment (ticket spitters, gate
  arms, printers); escalate issues to maintenance promptly
• Ensure valet stations and parking areas are stocked with necessary
  supplies and maintained in clean, functional condition
• Track and report on vehicle volume, traffic patterns, and ramp
  capacity to support operational decisions and improvements
• Compile and submit daily activity and incident reports; flag safety,
  service, or workflow issues to management

Education:  

• High School diploma/GED or equilvalent required

Experience:  

• Two (2) years good driving record and two (2+) years in customer service experience required. 

License(s)/Certification(s):  

• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior withing 90 days of hire required.
• IA Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter Training within 90-days of hire required.
