Multiple RN Opportunities Available in our Maternal Services Department (Labor/Delivery, Children's Unit, and NSCU)

Shifts Available:

  • Full-Time (0.9):
    • Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
    • Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
  • Part-Time (0.6):
    • Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Join our Maternal Services team and provide compassionate, family-centered care to mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients across our Moline and Bettendorf campuses.

Labor & Delivery – Moline: Join our Level II Plus Labor department caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum mothers. The department includes triage, labor/delivery/recovery rooms, dedicated operating rooms, Mother/Baby, and Neonatal Special Care.

Children’s Unit – Bettendorf: Provide compassionate pediatric care while partnering closely with families and a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, collaborative environment.

NSCU – Moline: Our Level II Neonatal Special Care Unit provides specialized care for neonates beginning at 30 weeks gestation, with a highly trained team focused on safe, high-quality care.

Maternal/Child Float – Moline: Three RN opportunities are available to support multiple areas throughout Maternal/Child Services, offering the opportunity to care for a variety of patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient and family needs, provide education, and coordinate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor patient conditions, apply critical thinking skills, and make independent clinical judgments to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Accurately and promptly document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Delegate and coordinate patient care activities while providing guidance and support to other healthcare team members.
  • Promote patient safety and education by utilizing age-appropriate teaching strategies, preventing errors and infections, and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the Sta

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
    • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must possess and maintain ACLS
