Shift: 4 Days/Week; 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM + Call and weekend/holiday rotation

Join our collaborative Cath Lab team and make a difference in the lives of patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular procedures. As a Registered Nurse, you'll work alongside physicians and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll circulate, monitor, scrub, manage supplies, and administer procedural sedation under physician supervision while expanding your expertise in advanced cardiac care. • Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care.
• Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient’s care.
• Assess and chooses teaching strategies appropriate to the patient’s and their families’ age specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn and level of comprehension.
• Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research.
• Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required to operate specialized equipment in the Electrophysiology lab

Education:

• Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must possess and maintain ACLS
• Maintain Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
