Overview

Shift:  Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, evaluating, and development management teams to develop an effective and efficient leadership team.
  • Develops and reviews succession plans for expected and unexpected vacancies in key Service Line positions.
  • Responsible for activity and operations within specified areas.
  • Responsible for organizing staffing and administering all personnel in one or more functional organizational units.
  • Partner with the Market Chief Nursing Officer and other directors to develop operational plans to ensure the achievement of the strategic work.
  • Leads development and approval of ED operational plans; accountable for translating strategy into workflows and staffing models.
  • Owns ED strategic priorities and operational execution; sets targets and timelines; holds teams accountable.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Health related profession.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa or applicable compact state. Must be licensed in state of residence.

Experience:

  • Five years of professional experience required.
  • Two years of previous management experience required.
