Customer Service/Patient Care:
• Greet and assist customers, while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand
standards.
• Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and accurately
communicate product information to customers. Respond to
questions, orders, and concerns, and educate customers on coffee
products.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including
cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and
condiments.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of all Bistro equipment and assist
with troubleshooting in event of equipment malfunctions.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitization guidelines for all procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management
Technical and Safety:
• Responsible for following cash handling and payment policies.
• Responsible for opening and closing register operations.
• Correctly operates department equipment that has been assigned.
• Cleans and restocks dishes, food, supplies, and beverages during
hours of operation as assigned.
• Practices HACCP guidelines for food handling in a sanitary and safe
condition. Reports any equipment malfunction to a supervisor.
• Monitors and records temperatures, utilizes safe food handling
techniques, maintains a clean orderly work station.
• Performs transactions including taking of cash, credit and payroll
deduct payments. Ensures cash is balanced each shift and
reviewed by a Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Checks out with Supervisor at the end of their shift.
Education:
Preferred - High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Required - One year experience in food service industry or related experience.
Preferred - Knowledge as a Barista or equivalent experience preferred.
