Shift:  6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (4 days per week) No weekends or holidays!

Responsibilities

  • Participates in efficient surgical room turnover in accordance with AORN guidelines and Infection Control Policy, including sweeping/mopping floors and repositioning equipment.
  • Collects and distributes clean and soiled linens to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Transports hazardous waste safely and in compliance with hospital safety policies.
  • Ensures all sterile supplies are opened correctly and that necessary instruments are prepared pre-procedure.
  • Monitors surgical schedules to ensure patients are transported to the unit in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.

Experience: 

  • Less than 1 year of experience working in a hospital setting or surgical unit or related field is preferred.
