Overview

Shift:  Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

 

If you love coffee, good vibes, and making someone’s day better one cup at a time, this role is for you.  As a barista, you’ll craft and serve high-quality beverages and food with care, speed, and a friendly attitude that keeps customers coming back. You’ll handle transactions accurately, follow proper cash-handling procedures, and keep things running smoothly at the register.  Behind the counter, you’ll keep the space clean and welcoming by washing and sanitizing dishes, equipment, and work areas, while also stocking display cases and coolers so everything looks fresh and ready to go.  Every shift is about teamwork, consistency, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, energetic café environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers, while anticipating their needs.
  • Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
  • Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and accurately communicate product information to customers. Respond to questions, orders, and concerns, and educate customers on coffee products.
  • Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
  • Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
  • Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of all Bistro equipment and assist with troubleshooting in event of equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • One year experience in food service industry or related experience
