Responsibilities

The Clinic Administrator is responsible for leading the daily operations of a multi-specialty medical practice, ensuring efficient clinic performance, exceptional patient service, regulatory compliance, and strong team leadership. This role partners closely with providers and organizational leadership to support operational goals, financial performance, staffing, and strategic initiatives while fostering a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, scheduling, workflows, and office performance across Foot & Ankle and PM&R clinics
  • Lead and support staff through hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, employee relations, and performance management
  • Partner with providers and leadership to improve operational efficiency, patient experience, communication, and quality of care
  • Manage financial operations including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and monitoring clinic performance
  • Implement organizational initiatives, policies, procedures, and process improvements to support clinic growth and operational success
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, safety, risk management, and other healthcare regulatory standards
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, providers, patients, HR, and leadership while promoting teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Provide leadership during emergencies or operational challenges to ensure safety, continuity of care, and protection of patient information
  • Maintain regular attendance and complete all required organizational training and compliance education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience; healthcare or business management degree preferred
  • Master’s degree in healthcare or business management preferred
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience required, preferably in healthcare or clinic operations
  • Experience with accounts receivable, billing, collections, ICD-9, and CPT coding required
  • Experience in clinical operations, personnel management, budgeting, financial management, and process improvement preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required for work-related travel
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and apply organizational policies and procedures
