Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm; Monday-Friday with call every 4th Weekend

Join our team as an Ultrasound Sonographer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced ultrasound imaging services. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of ultrasound exams while providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards
  • Prepare patients for procedures, obtain patient history, and provide education to ensure a positive patient experience
  • Interpret physician orders correctly and ensure exams are ordered, tracked, and charged in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while critiquing exams
  • Ensure proper storage, transfer, and documentation of images and technical information
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order and comply with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation responsibilities and collaborate effectively with patients, providers, and team members

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-approved school for Radiologic Technology with extensive ultrasound training and experience demonstrating competency, OR
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography

License/Certifications:

  • RDMS or ARRT certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN, or registry eligible
  • If registry is eligible, must obtain RDMS or ARRT certification within 24 months of successfully passing Physics, Abdomen, and OB/GYN
  • Current CPR certification
