Patient care activities are under the direct supervision of a licensed professional. Duties include maintaining a safe and organized treatment environment, stocking supplies, performing housekeeping tasks, scheduling therapy sessions, and managing clerical responsibilities. Technicians aid in patient transfers, therapy modalities, and communication among staff, patients, and families. They ensure efficient department operations by disinfecting equipment, maintaining inventory, and reconciling paperwork. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care through evidence-based practices.
