Shift: Full-time day shift, 7am-7pm, 36 hours/week, every 3rd weeekend and holiday rotation

Eligible for a $10K Sign-On Bonus + Up to $10K Relocation Bonus (for eligible candidates)

Marshalltown Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. Our 16-bed unit cares for a diverse mix of medical, surgical, telemetry, and pediatric patients—offering strong opportunities to grow your skills in a supportive environment.

In this role, you’ll deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and use your clinical judgment to support a variety of patient needs in a fast-paced setting.

• Collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care using clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Communicates effectively with providers, team members, and patients to ensure coordinated care
• Accurately documents patient care in the EMR to support quality and compliance
• Delegates and supports team members based on scope, skills, and patient needs
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and escalates concerns appropriately
• Prioritizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and infection prevention in all aspects of care
• Participates in ongoing education and training to maintain and grow clinical expertise

Education:

• Associate Degree of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
• PALS for any pediatric nurse preferred
