The Volunteer Coordinators are responsible for the on-going recruitment, recognition, retention, coordination and supervision of adult, high school, college and Workplace Learning Connection student volunteers in all volunteer shifts and assignments. Volunteer Coordinators work closely with hospital departments to maintain and improve current volunteer programs and plan and facilitate any future programs/tours for volunteers (and visitors) which may be developed. This includes, but is not limited to screening, interviewing, orienting, training and placement to meet the needs of the hospital and community we serve. The coordinators work together in a team environment and are responsible for carrying out the philosophy and objectives established by the hospital and the departments we serve.
