The Health Unit Assistant plays a key role in keeping our healthcare unit running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast paced environment. As a central point of contact for staff, patients, families, and other departments, the HUA supports daily operations by managing administrative tasks, assisting with patient flow, and helping coordinate unit activities. This role is essential to creating an efficient, supportive, and well connected care environment. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of previous clerical, customer service or other experience in healthcare setting required.
License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
