Full Time; 3 - 12 Hour Shifts Per Week; 0:645A-7:15P, every third weekend and holiday rotation

Provides Advanced Life Support level skills within the scope of practice. Care is provided in conjunction with, and under the direction of the nurse and/ or physician in the hospital setting.

Provide advanced patient care in the Emergency Department, supporting both routine and critical care situations.
Assist with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) interventions and emergency response procedures.
Perform patient assessments including triage, collecting medical history, and evaluating physical and psychosocial needs.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced pharmacological treatments within scope of practice.
Support advanced procedures including airway management, ventilator support, and trauma care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to implement and adjust patient care plans.
Document patient care and treatments accurately in the electronic health record.
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions.
Support team development by mentoring new staff, assisting with training, and participating in professional growth opportunities.
