Nurse Manager-Trauma Program

Hours: Full Time, hours vary
Plans manages, coordinates, and evaluates the care provided in the assigned area of responsibility. Provides leadership to ensure operational effectiveness of trauma services within the trauma and emergency departments, evalauates special projects related to Trauma status clinical practice and designation. Position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care. Works both independently and in collaboration with the trauma program medical director and other members of the health care team.Upholds operations and services to facilitate maximum quality, cost efficiency and productivity. The position is self-directed and self-motivating, plans, leads, and conducts work with minimal direction and is instrumental in promoting quality of life for patients, personnel, and the community.
