Paid Nurse Aide Training!

Shifts: Part-Time and Full-Time; Multiple shifts available

*Typically include weekend and holiday rotation

Hospital Locations include: Methodist, Lutheran, and Methodist West

Full-Time hires will receive $3,000 Sign-On Bonus paid over 1 year

• Are you interested in working in a hospital as a PCT/CNA but haven’t taken a nursing aid course? 
• If so, consider applying for our Patient Care Technician Trainee program for the opportunity to earn while you learn. 
• We’ll pay you and we’ll pay for your training. 
• This program will provide you with your basic 75-hour CNA. 

Compensation:

• The cost of the class and all materials will be paid by UnityPoint Health
• You will receive $15/hr during the duration of the two-week training program
• After successful completion of the class, you will start your PCT position at a minimum of $15.87/hr
  • Eligible for Shift Differentials as a PCT:
    • $2.65/hr for hours worked between 3pm-7am
    • Weekend: $2.50/hr for hours worked between Friday 11pm-Monday 7am

The two-week Basic Nurse Aide class will be held in April at Signature Healthcare in Waukee.

What to know:

• Participants will be paid while in class. 
• Once participants successfully complete the class, they will begin working the schedule on the hospital unit they were hired into. 
• Work schedules will vary based on the hospital unit that hires the PCT apprentice. 

Classes start soon and spots are limited so apply today! 

• 16 years of age
• High School Diploma/equivalent
• Ability to succesfully complete a 75 Hour Nurse Aide course.
  • Classes are Monday-Friday for 2-weeks. 
  • Classroom days: 8AM-4:30PM
  • Clinical days: 7:30AM-3:30PM
