The Radiologic Technologist plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care services by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced, ambulatory care environment. This position assists providers and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring all imaging and radiologic procedures meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams as ordered by providers using proper exposure techniques (MA, KV, time, and distance).
• Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and families to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Apply radiation protection practices in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Maintain sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on radiologic and darkroom equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Complete and maintain appropriate imaging records and referral logs.
• Ensure all x-ray films and images are stored, tracked, and reviewed in a timely manner.

• • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Successfully pass ARRT certification within twelve (12) months of employment.
  • Current Iowa permit to practice radiologic technology.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
