As a Nursing Supervisor, you’ll lead a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. We emphasize safe discharge planning and strive for the best possible outcomes through innovation, compassion, and teamwork.
After 12 months, you’ll have the opportunity to become Transplant Certified through the American Board of Transplant Certification—an exciting step in advancing your professional journey.

The Unit supervisor: Provides leadership as part of unit management team. Coordinates unit management activities in conjunction with manager/director. Facilitates unit staff development in collaboration with manager/director. Carries out the day-to-day operation plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director. Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit. Works collaboratively with other departments to facilitate cost effective health care. The patients to be served may include: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Assumes patient care assignment based on unit needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
| Bachelor’s degree upon hire. | BSN |
Experience:
| One year experience as a registered nurse. | Experience in specialty area. |

| Current Iowa license as a registered nurse. Current BCLS (CPR) Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. |
