• Perform specialized cleaning of ORs between cases and at end-of-day, ensuring compliance with department standards and AORN guidelines.
• Handle and dispose of soiled linen, trash, and biohazard materials appropriately, following infection control and safety protocols.
• Clean hazardous spills, including blood or bodily fluids, using trained procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Deliver biohazard trash, pharmaceutical waste, and sharps containers to storage areas, labeling and preparing them for pickup in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and clean EVS equipment, carts, and closets, ensuring they are stocked and functional, and report repair needs to maintenance or biomed.
• Execute wet mopping and machine scrubbing in surgical areas (OR, Cath Lab, CTU, Endo), maintaining sterile environments for patient safety.

Experience:

• Any relevant experience in a housekeeping related position is preferred.
