Full Time Benefits
Provide day-to-day leadership of transportation team members including reviewing staffing needs, training team members and overseeing the day-to-day coordination of transportation services. Proactively addresses process or staff/participant concerns; effectively leading and implementing solutions autonomously and escalate concerns and/or needs to manager when needed. Monitors staff and participant safety both within PACE vehicles and the facility.

Transportation Oversite
• Manages ongoing routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safe and adequate transportation to meet participant needs.
• Assists in the development of job descriptions, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of new employees
• Ensures a safe, functional, accessible and comfortable environment for the delivery of services to participants.
• Maintains working knowledge of transportation routing software and EMR documentation requirements.
• Evaluates employee performance at 30 days and 90 days of hire date; annual performance reviews; and more frequently if there is an identified need.
• Facilitates the development of strong, cohesive teams utilizing communication skills, team building, and problem-solving skills.
• Investigates and resolves grievances, service delivery concerns and/or incidents that relate to PACE Center and/or transportation services and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner
• Schedules and leads transportation department meetings and huddles.
Scheduling/Dispatching Support Responsibilities
• Fills in when needed to cover for Transportation Coordinators and/or schedulers ie: dispatching, assisting with entering trips and/or creating daily transportation schedule.
Facility Oversite
• Performs and records daily and monthly facility safety checks
• Submits maintenance tickets to address facility issues
Education
Associate degree in business, health administration, related field, or equivalent experience
License/Certifications
Proof of Auto Insurance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
•Proficiency in proper office/business protocol.
•Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision making, and problem solving
•Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relation principles.
•Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
•Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
•Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to providing safe transportation services.
