• Perform all modalities of neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, NCS/EMG, and sleep studies (MSLT/MWT, polysomnography as applicable)
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding of the process.
• Apply electrodes and monitoring equipment according to standardized protocols.
• Recognize normal/abnormal findings, troubleshoot equipment, and note unusual activity for physician review.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams, ensuring understanding and cooperation during procedures.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months neurodiagnostic technology experience or supervised training

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician Registry eligible
• Must posess the following licensure within 90 days of hire:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association (AHA)
  • IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
  • IL Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
  • IA Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
  • IL Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
