The Patient Access Associate supports a smooth and informed patient experience by ensuring accurate collection of demographic and financial information for each visit. Responsibilities include securing required signatures, verifying insurance benefits, and completing precertification requirements. The Associate helps patients understand their financial responsibility by reviewing deductibles, coinsurance, allowable amounts, and copayments, and by providing clear cost estimates. Payment collection is initiated and documented to support accurate patient accounts.
