Overview

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

 

This cross-posted role plays a vital part across warehouse operations, supply chain, and inventory control within Home Medical Equipment. The position is responsible for daily shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of items, while ensuring accurate inventory levels through regular counts, discrepancy research, and reorder recommendations. This individual maintains organized warehouse operations across multiple locations, supports inventory accuracy and availability, and collaborates with the inventory team to identify losses and implement corrective actions—ensuring supplies and equipment are always ready to meet patient and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules cycle counts throughout HME sites and ensures accuracy and accountability of inventory at all times through appropriate auditing practices.
  • Ensures that prudent buying practices through value analysis process for all supplies, equipment, project completion, construction, and services needed to support quality patient care in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
  • Proper execution of the functions ensures high quality patient care at the lowest possible impact cost to UnityPoint at Home.
  • Greet clients providing courteous, caring and professional assistance.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance at work.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licesure/Certification:

  • Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Minimum Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Computer skills, MSWord, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Read, speak and write fluent English and perform simple arithmetic computations.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.

Other:

  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
