Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.
Identifies realistic and measurable outcomes which are complimentary to medical plan of care and centered on the patient’s and family's/significant other's needs and appropriate practice guidelines.
Collaborates with co-workers, physician, other disciplines, patient, and family to develop individualized plan of care to address patient diagnoses or issues that attains patient outcomes.
Coordinates care delivery - Assumes responsibility for assigning and coordinating patient care with ancillary personnel consistent with patient needs, staff competencies and licensure.
Evaluates progress towards attainment of outcomes.
Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice.
Provides care consistent with the Code of Ethics for Nurses
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice

Education: Must be a graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Illinois
Oncology Certification preferred.
Current CPR Certification.
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
