The Unit Clerk provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within a healthcare unit. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Unit Clerk serves as a central point of contact for staff, patients, families, and other departments, assisting with administrative functions, patient flow, and assisting with unit activities.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Must be familiar with word processing software and basic computer skills. Previous healthcare experience preferred. One year experience in business or secretarial environment preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused.
