Overview

Shift:  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

 

Performs a variety of clerical work for the dental programs at Trinity Muscatine Public Health. Requires the use of computers and other common office machines.  Responsible for data entry documentation in relation to dental services provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance to the dental hygienist with completion of oral health screening forms, and set-up of dental equipment for dental screenings, sealant procedures and fluoride application.
  • Complies with established infection control and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the dental hygienist to link children and adults to local dental providers for follow-up care or treatment needs.
  • Completion of required documentation and forms to track services provided and seek reimbursement from Title XIX or through the grant contact with IDPH in conjunction with the dental hygienist.
  • Data entry for specific to grants, pull patient charts as needed, make new charts as needed, scheduling and rescheduling school visits as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Experience:

  • Phone, typing skills, filing and medical terminology.
