This position provides leadership of data-driven patient safety initiatives. The Patient Safety Program Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with key leaders across the market and enterprise for the purpose of measurably improving patient safety and reducing patient harm/errors. This requires responsibility for performing Patient Safety Investigations and for supporting and performing patient safety event data analysis and activities that support UPH’s enterprise safety initiatives. This position assists in the resolution of safety issues/concerns by facilitating root cause analysis and action planning with cross-functional teams, leading them through process improvement activities utilizing evidence-based quality improvement tools and methodologies.
