The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of assigned health clinics as well as managing client communications and projects. This position is responsible for the strategic leadership and operations of the clinic, people leadership and ensuring the delivery of quality and safe care through the efforts of administrative, medical, clinical and support staff, and client communications. As the leader, will shape and interpret the standards required to ensure quality outcomes and a high degree of client, physician, and employee satisfaction. This person is responsible for the management of personnel, budget, equipment and supplies of the assigned clinic(s).

Operations and Financial Management
• Provide leadership and full authority over daily operations within the clinic(s) they are supporting in order to ensure effective, efficient office operations and delivery of high-quality care.
• Possess in–depth knowledge of and provide operational support for tasks and job functions performed in areas of responsibility, including protocols, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee of the day-to-day management of the clinic including the coordination of clinic operations, establishment of work schedules, review of staffing needs and the supervision and training of staff in managing excellence in patient/ client relations, office policies and procedures.
• Follow protocols and policies in decision making.
• Be aware of what is happening in clinic/department and the organization by attending clinic/department and site lead meetings, reading emails and regularly checking information on the organization’s intranet site.
• Take the leadership role in times of disaster to secure the safety of staff, patients, visitors, the facility, and protected health information when possible.
• Implements and ensures ongoing compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and training programs for assigned clinics
• Responsible for financial operations of the clinic(s) including accounts payable, timely and accurate preparation and submission of biweekly payroll reports, monitoring accounts receivable and reviewing required reports.
• Review monthly financial statements and client billing.
• Seek guidance from Executive Director and Medical Director as needed to ensure clinical and business objectives are met.
People Leadership
• Manage personnel including dissemination of information, conducting evaluations, completing conflict resolutions and documentation of such activities.
• Communicate with staff, providers, and patients to foster an environment of openness, trust, teamwork, and staff development.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities; be open and objective to other’s views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to positive team goals; and put the success of the team above own interests.
• Responsible for the interview and hiring process including completion of employment forms in an accurate and timely manner and coordination of orientation and training programs.
• Manage effective and routine employee engagement strategies with regular 1:1 rounding, team huddles and employee recognition.
• Consultant and final decision maker, in partnership with HR, with respect to employee relations situations.
Account Management
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client and UPW leadership by establishing effective mechanisms of communication with clients to exceed expectations in delivery of contractual obligations.
• Work with Medical Director to communicate and anticipate staffing needs and innovate care delivery with the client.
• Manage project workstreams that engage clients, UPW and other necessary stakeholders in meeting long term goals.

• Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
• Perform other duties as requested by the organization’s management team and the providers to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required OR a combination of education and experience.
Experience
• 1-3 years of leadership experience
License(s)/Certification(s)
• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
