Position provides medical, health and safety services to employees within established protocols, and administers immunizations when necessary. The Occupational Health Medical Assistant regularly performs a variety of additional duties including scheduling pre-employment/post –offer physicals including blood work, vision testing and drug screening; ordering and maintaining sufficient quantities of necessary medical supplies; and maintaining employee medical records. The Medical Assistant coordinates the completion of Worker’s Compensation reports and performs special projects as assigned. This position covers both internal employee health as well as occupational health for external clients through the Work Well clinic.
