This position will be responsible for case management in the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) and Crisis Stabilization Community-Based Services (CSCBS) program, providing outreach and presentations on available services, maintaining client files, covering necessary on-call MCRT day shifts, and providing support and consultation to encourage recovery behaviors with consumers in a Mental Health Program.

Provide case management services for clients according to program policies.
Complete required paperwork and maintain client files in accordance with program rules and policies.
Develop and maintain working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel, and other interested parties.
Education: This position requires one of the following: A bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or High school diploma.
Experience: Depending on an employee’s education, one-two years of mental health or human services experience is required.
License(s)/Certification(s): Pass criminal records/child abuse checks completed by Eyerly Ball. Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by Eyerly Ball’s auto insurance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment, frequent interruptions and changes in work priorities. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from medical professionals, management, staff, clients, and the public. Able to speak, read, write fluent English with ability to write legibly, and understand common terminology of the mental health field. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Possess teamwork skills including problem solving, cooperation, stating opinions and negotiating. Knowledge of effects of mental illness and ability to relate respectfully to a wide range of client deficits and abilities both individually and in groups. Must possess good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Possess a high degree of empathy and understanding, the ability to maintain boundaries and a professional distance from consumers, and must enjoy working with people. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be well organized. Must have an excellent attendance record. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift 25 pounds to waist level and push/pull up to 25 pounds. Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment, frequent interruptions and changes in work priorities. Must have 50% normal range of auditory or visual acuity or have site or hearing correction to 50% normal range.
