Overview

As a member of the ERP team in IT, applies project management discipline to the entire training project lifecycle.  Specifically, the Training Project manager is responsible for the identification and implementation of effective and accurate methods of record keeping systems including, but not limited to, attendance tracking, course enrollments, course completions, assessments and evaluations. Successful job performance results in enhanced employee and management productivity.

 

Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours 

Location: Open to remote, hybrid, or onsite. Applicants preferably reside in the UPH geography of Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Issue Resolution

  • Independently supports and resolves complex issues with assigned applications in adherence with service expectations and change management policies.
  • Takes ownership of escalated customer issues and works with multiple parties and/or vendor to help resolve issue.

Operational Support and Improvement

  • Researches and communicates options to support decision-making discussions to determine strategy for implementation of tools and systems
  • Advocates for and acts as an agent of progressive change within the organization and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Researches solutions to improve service such as processes, standards and/or products.
  • Participates in decision-making or technical solution-oriented discussions
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation. Communicates necessary information to the required teams.
  • Attends educational offerings and shares learnings with others to improve knowledge and educate the organizations we serve.
  • Collaborates with business partners using reports from learning systems to communicate project progress and overall health of training across the system.
  • Supports ERP and WFM learning systems as a Super User and assists business partners with the use of the learning systems.
  • Manages Training Team SharePoint as the SuperUser and Administrator as well as associated portals for customers.
  • Leads the analysis, planning, design, creation, and maintenance of simple reports/database projects.
  • Maintains Training Equipment inventory that includes, but not limited to: Laptops, Projectors, Barcode scanners and training room supplies

Compliance and Security

  • Understands HIPAA standards, regulatory, and security requirements pertaining to database, server, and/or application management.
  • Follows appropriate security processes for supported applications.

Project Management

  • Leads and coordinates projects as assigned, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Develops and implements program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics, escalating as necessary when project issues arise, or deadlines are challenged.
  • Assists with communications regarding training and with the preparation and delivery of course materials and resources to meet customer’s training needs.

Training and Education

  • Implements performance measurement frameworks in relation to end user training and credentialing of trainers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience. Knowledge of the technology used within the healthcare industry Project management experience in healthcare industry preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced project management skills, including an understanding of all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications.
  • Ability to align, manage, and track change across multiple programs and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to operate effectively in a large complex organization.
  • Results oriented with strong customer focus and attention to detail.
  • Workday and / or UKG experience preferred.
  • Project management experience in healthcare industry preferred.
