the paramedic will be able to function within their level of certification under the direction of Department Physicians and Registered Nurses following existing policies and procedures
The paramedic has completed a training course and maintains certification as an EMT Paramedic Specialist. The paramedic will have a minimum of three to four years experience on a paramedic specialist ground service or related experience. The paramedic must hold current certifications in PHTLS, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS according to standards of the American Heart Association. NRP will be provided and certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
